UNHCR Logo or The High Commissioner for Refugees and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is the head of the refugee agency of the United Nations with the same name. The headquarters of this organization is located in Geneva, Switzerland. The UNHCR was established on 14 December 1950 with the aim of protecting and supporting refugees with shelter, repatriation, or resettlement in another country.

 

Since its inception, the UNHCR is also increasingly involved in humanitarian aid, especially to refugees at the borders of their country have not yet exceeded, therefore the organization is also active in countries like Ivory Coast, Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo and Colombia.
